I stumbled upon this illustration at meetmeatmikes page. I thought, 'hmmm, this looks really familiar..' It was taken from vintage children's book, illustrated by Marcel Marlier. I remember I used to have those books when I was a kid, and my dad always read them to me before bed time, he would read 3 books to me every night, yup,it had to be 3 books, no less. So I googled mr Marlier, and came up with these illustrations :
I wonder what happened to my books now? I WANT THEM..!! so, I searched on ebay, and watch on couple books, hopefully no one bid on them.. (fingers cross tightly, it hurt!)
